The last PEI meeting of the year will feature Brother David Van Hollebeke of Manhattan College speaking on The Nuts and Bolts of College Planning and Paying.  Mark your calendar and bring your notebooks on Monday, March 31, at 7:30PM, in the auditorium.

The PPO Nominating Committee is now accepting names for next year's slate of officers. Positions being vacated are President, Vice President, Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary and Recording Secretary.

Class of 2004  Volunteers are still needed to help with  the National Honor Society induction,  and the College Fair - both Junior Class responsibilities. Please contact Eileen Friedman to serve on either committee. 


HSPA testing for all juniors takes place during school on March 4 - 6. The Junior Prom is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at Gatsby's of Cresskill.  A Class meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 24, to discuss next year's senior experience.


Class of 2006    Bake Sale Thursday, February 27, at the end of the school day.  Chaperones are needed for the first dance on Friday, March 28. Please email faculty advisor laucra@bergen.org to volunteer or help with the plans.


BCA News

The BCA chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America swept the regional competitions at Mercer Community College on January 9 with our students bringing back 16 finalist awards, including 3 first-place wins.  We look forward to the state competition in March.


ACA/ACAHA News

The Fifth Annual Chocolate Competition will be held at the Academy Grill on Friday, February 28, at 1PM. The national technical high school organization, SkillsUSA, State competition is scheduled for April 11 - 12 at Garden State Exhibition Center, in Somerset.


Music/Event News

  • Don't forget to attend this year's play, "Running in the Red," on February 28 and March 1, at 7:30PM, in the auditorium.

  • Guest artist Tamar Volskaya will play at the March 7 Winter Concert.

  • Bergen County Band applications due March 10.  See Mr. Lemma for details.

  • All State Orchestra auditions March 22.

  • First Annual NJ Guitar Ensemble Festival to be held on our campus on March 28.
